Zeiss ClearMind lenses
‘Seeing is more than just a physical act, it is a personal experience and nobody sees like you.’
ZEISS ClearMind is the first ZEISS lens designed to provide extremely clear vision and reduce cognitive load.1 They’ll help change how you SEE the world – AND how you FEEL.
About 80% of all the sensory input we receive comes through our eyes. This makes good eyesight essential for life in our fast-paced, information-packed world. Keeping up with these seemingly endless demands requires our eyes and mind to work hand-in-hand.
Driven by a global breakthrough in neuroscience decoding visual perception and cognition, Zeiss have developed a first-of-its-kind lens: ZEISS ClearMind with NeurOptix technology provides extremely clear vision and is scientifically proven to help reduce the cognitive load. Based on the understanding how a person’s vision and mind is connected, ZEISS conducted original research in collaboration with the University of Tübingen to explore whether or not the blur in spectacle lenses affects the cognitive load. Lens blur may increase the effort required for the brain to process visual information.
Why choose ZEISS ClearMind lenses?
ZEISS ClearMind lenses provide extremely clear vision in the situations and moments when minds need it most – all day, every day.
Features that make the difference:
● Extremely clear vision.
Sharper, clearer vision throughout the day thanks to reduced lens blur. 96% of wearers confirm that they perceived extremely clear vision.2
● Less cognitive load.
Clear vision helps the brain process visual information more easily, allowing patients to think clearly. ZEISS ClearMind lenses are designed to reduce cognitive load.1
● Increased concentration.
Clear Vision and clear thinking helps you stay engaged and focused, even during demanding tasks. 76% of wearers state that the lenses increased their ability to concentrate on tasks.2
● Well-being.
Visual clarity boots your comfort and improves your overall quality of life. 84% of ZEISS ClearMind lens wearers confirm a positive contribution to their overall feeling of well-being.2
Zeiss ClearMind, Made for everyone. Tailored to individuals.
Zeiss Single Vision ClearMind lenses.
Engineered to minimise peripheral blur for an expanded effective visual field compared to other Zeiss Single Vison lenses. The lens design makes processing visual input more efficient. Uninterupted visual clarity helps reduce the cognitive load.
Zeiss Digital ClearMind lenses.
For people aged 30+ with blurred vision near or far and tired eyes.
The lower part of the lens provides accomodative support for near vision tasks. These lens are perfect if you are not quite ready for a progressive lens but are finding prologed near vision tasks difficult.
Zeiss Progressive ClearMind lenses
For people aged 45+ who need seamless vision at all distances.
Designed to minimise and optimise peripheral blur, these lenses offer large fields of clear view at all distances and in all directions with an extra large intermediate zone compared to Zeiss Progressive SmartLife lenses. They also optimise the vision flow for smooth transitions between focal areas.
The Zeiss ClearMind range of lenses are now available from Scartho eyecare as a premium lens choice especially for patients that are wearing a ‘premium’ lens already but are still struggling with the lenses and/or for those patients who just want to give their eyes the best.
